First of all thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers over the last year. We have decided to create a blog to have an outlet for anyone who is interested in updates on Lances condition a place to come and be informed. The title of the blog "A future and a hope" comes from Jeremiah 29:11, which is a verse that has given our family alot of comfort through these challenging times. Because as my Dad has said, no matter what happens we have already won! I would encourage you to pass on the location of this site to anyone that you may believe would be interested in updates. -Justin

I got the remote!!

OK, Can everyone now pray that Lance's platelets stabalize and stay in the normal range! Today they were up from the normal range of 212 thousand on this last Thursday, to 502 thousand today. The normal range is 135 thousand to 385 thousand. In just a week and a half they have gone from less than 1000 to this! We had all been praying "Go Platelets" but I guess we can stop now!!! Lance spent most of the afternoon having a treatment, the up side of it was he got to lay back in a recliner, got offered snacks and because he ended up being the last one there the nurses gave him the TV remote (a big deal!) and he got to watch hockey!!! So thankful for all the little blessings!! Love and thanks to all! Penny

  1. OK--no more "Go platelet" prayers! Continued prayers for healing and let's hear it for remote controls. :)
