First of all thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers over the last year. We have decided to create a blog to have an outlet for anyone who is interested in updates on Lances condition a place to come and be informed. The title of the blog "A future and a hope" comes from Jeremiah 29:11, which is a verse that has given our family alot of comfort through these challenging times. Because as my Dad has said, no matter what happens we have already won! I would encourage you to pass on the location of this site to anyone that you may believe would be interested in updates. -Justin

Work, Walking, and Stuart Little

Well we really don't have anything new to tell anybody today, but dad wanted me to post and tell everyone that he had a really good day at work. He was really happy because he got to tell everyone in the plant that they can go back on full time and he might even get to hire a few more people! This news is so encouraging because it's been really hard lately to see how slow his work has been and we have been praying that it will get busier and it seems to be doing just that. He said that it feels so good to be busy again, and he actually feels like things may be turning for the better at work!

We also went for a walk tonight and dad was able to go with us. Our dog Stuart Little followed dad the whole time, dad is conviced that Stuart knows that he is sick because he hasn't left his side since we got home!! Maybe dad knows the dog better than we do but I just think he knows that dad is the only who will give him treats. Dad says that Stuart is an athlete so he needs to keep up his strength but you need to understand that Stuart is a 20 pound shipoo so if you ask me he can't really be much of a athlete!!!

  1. I really think you should get Stewie some little outfits that would embarrass your dad when he is out walking with him. Sometimes Target has little tutu's in the $1 section. Just sayin'.... :)

  2. I can't picture Stewie wearing a Tutu. A Dallas Stars Jersey perhaps, but not a tutu.

Glad to hear you had a good day at work!
