Lance and I decided yesterday that we need to try and be positive. I don't know if it was the steroids he is on or what but last night he was FULL of it. Don't know what he was like as a kid but...... Anyway at 9 last night, Lance sent Elisabeth out in a thunderstorm to put the downspout back on, it was thundering and lighting, I'm down the hall and I hear this KNOCKING.....Guess who locked her out, unbelieveable!! She did get him back though, but not really on purpose. She was going to cover his pick line so he could take a shower and accidently put the tape to high and his armpit hair got caught in the tape! Didn't feel to good coming off, it wasn't on purpose but he really got his pay back. We all had such a good laugh (after the tape was off!) was so good to just laugh!! Don't think he will be locking her out anytime soon!
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Our hope is in the Lord. It is not a coincidence that the Lord laid that verse and Joshua 23:14 on my heart before and over and over after Lance was hospitalized...... it says this: ....you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one word of all the good words which the Lord your God spoke concerning you has failed; all have been fulfilled for you, not one of them has failed. The Lord has told us and shown us that He is with us, and that He is all sufficient! In the midst of a hard time we can feel His love and the love of all of you, Thank you....... Penny

First of all thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers over the last year. We have decided to create a blog to have an outlet for anyone who is interested in updates on Lances condition a place to come and be informed. The title of the blog "A future and a hope" comes from Jeremiah 29:11, which is a verse that has given our family alot of comfort through these challenging times. Because as my Dad has said, no matter what happens we have already won! I would encourage you to pass on the location of this site to anyone that you may believe would be interested in updates. -Justin
I am cracking up over Elisabeth getting his armpit hair caught in the tape. :) Heehee... Serves him right for locking that poor sweet girl out in the rain. :) Glad you were able to have a good laugh together! It's soooo good for you. Love the verses you shared and love hearing how God is going before you and taking care of you. HUGS!!
